A Job Order Contract ("JOC") is a competitively bid, firm fixed priced indefinite quantity contract. It includes a collection of detailed repair and construction tasks and specifications that have established Unit Prices. It is placed with a Contractor for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, construction, etc., of buildings, structures, or other real property. Ordering is accomplished by the issuance of a Job Order against the Contract. The Contractor, under the JOC contract, furnishes all management, labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform the work. The County anticipates awarding one contract under this solicitation. The County reserves the right to award more than one contract under this solicitation. The term of the contract will be for one year or expenditure Upon mutual agreement, the maximum value of the contract may be increased at any time during the term of the contract and for any amount, except that the aggregate contract amount may not exceed the maximum value established by PCC 20128.5. The number, dollar value, and sequence of Job Order issuance is solely at the discretion of the County. The JOC System License Fee applies to all Job Orders issued to the Contractor under the terms of the Contract. The Contractor shall be required to execute Gordian's JOC System License and Fee Agreement (Exhibit A), and pay a 1% JOC System License Fee to obtain access to the Gordian JOC Solution TM.
