Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Robbinsville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,520-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The bid is for the construction of a new 2,520 sf wood frame construction office building, including sitework, site utilities, slab, finished shell, flooring, ceiling system, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical construction. (all interior walls are a separate demountable wall system and contract). Bids will be received from General Contractors only for single prime construction. All proposals shall be lump sum. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or in lieu thereof a bidder may offer a BID BOND of five percent (5%) of the bid executed by a surety company licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute the contract in accordance with the bid bond. Said deposit shall be retained by the owner as liquidated damages in event of failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract within ten days after the award or to give satisfactory surety as required by law A PERFORMANCE BOND and a PAYMENT BOND will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Questions during the bid period must be emailed to the Architect (not phone call) who will respond by email and issue Addenda with the minutes of the pre-bid meeting/questions and additional Addenda if needed to provide the answers to questions to all attendees of the pre-bid meeting. ginger@wsarchitectspa.com Doc note: Complete plans, specifications and contract documents will also be available for viewing at the Graham County Maintenance office AT AND AFTER THE PRE-BID MEETING (please call ahead - 828-479-3520), 2447 Tallulah Road, Robbinsville. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. The RFI cut-off date has been shifted accordingly to Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 5pm.
