Taykwa Tagamou Nation is looking for qualified Contractors to provide Tender bids for the construction of a road with water and sewer servicing for a future twenty-three-lot subdivision located on the northeast end of the Taykwa Tagamou Nation community. The subdivision is approximately 235m in length and includes sanitary sewers, watermain, and streetlighting installation that will be coordinated with Hydro One. The project will also include a +/- 70m extension of the watermain within the existing roadway to connect to the new subdivision, sanitary connection to existing system, lot servicing, road construction, site grading and the installation of ditches and culverts throughout the subdivision. The full scope of the work is prescribed in detail in the attached tender documents. Without limiting the specifics of these requirements, the work generally consists of: 1. Removal of trees, clearing and grubbing as required to be completed the proposed work. 2. Protection of existing site features that are to remain. 3. Supply and install of new watermain and associated services to each lot. 4. Supply and install of new sanitary sewer main and associated services to each lot. 5. Supply and install of new granular material and asphalt for roadway. 6. Coordination with Hydro for installation of new hydro poles, streetlighting attachments and lot servicing. 7. Coordination with Bell for installation telecommunications cabling, pole attachment coordination and lot servicing. 8. Supply and install of new pole mounted streetlighting. 9. Supply and install of granular material and culverts for driveways and hydrant crossings. 10. Restoration of all areas disturbed during construction to an equivalent or better condition than existed prior to construction. Construction is to be complete by September 30, 2026. Be advised that the dates noted in sections 4-5 of the Tender document will be formally modified through Addendum during the tender period.
