Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in American Canyon, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of pavement rehabilitation of approximately 2,000 linear feet of roadway by means of full depth reclamation via cement treatment (FDR-C) at Tower Road and South Kelly Road from Devlin Road to State Route-29. Work also includes storm drain system installation in South Kelly Road, relocation of a street light, as well as installation of a new recycled water main and installation of new water and recycle water services and construction of bioretention facilities along the southwest shoulder of South Kelly Road. Work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, storm water pollution prevention, traffic control, curb ramp upgrades, road base treatment via FDR-C, asphalt concrete paving, ancillary grading, landscaping, and fencing improvements, and new signage and striping. Work further includes minor concrete sidewalk and curb ramp improvements at the intersection of South Kelly Road and State Route-29, within Caltrans Right of Way. This project is funded by the Napa Countywide Sales Tax Measure U and private developer funds paid to the City of American Canyon. All Contract Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check payable to the order of the City of American Canyon, amounting to ten per cent (10%) of the bid, or by a Bid Bond in said amount, on the form included within the Contract Proposal. Said check shall be forfeited, or said bond shall become payable, in case the Bidder depositing same does not complete the requirements as defined in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS in the time set forth herein below. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish, with the Agreement, a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement price and a Payment for Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement price. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish, prior to issuance of a Notice of Completion, a Warrantee Bond inthe amount of ten percent (10%) of the final Agreement price. The successful Contractor shall also furnish Certificates of Insurance evidencing that all insurance coverage required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS has been so secured. The Engineer's Estimate for the Project is $3,720,000. Technical questions and Requests for Information will not be accepted after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026. The Contractor shall execute required documents within seven (7) calendar days after the Notice of Award; shall begin work within five (5) calendar days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed; and shall complete work within sixty (60) working days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities, and to award the contract to other than the lowest Bidder. No Bidder may withdraw their Contract Proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined or obtained at the stated address herein.
