The Northampton Park and Silver Oak Park Restroom Projects consist of site preparation and installation of new underground utilities to serve prefabricated modular restroom buildings. The City of American Canyon has pre-purchased the restroom units directly from CXT, Inc., and a separate contractor will perform the final placement and utility hookups of the restrooms via crane once the units are delivered. The contractor’s responsibility under this bid is to complete all work necessary to prepare each site for restroom installation, including ensuring that all utility stub-outs are accurately located and set to the elevations specified in the CXT foundation and utility plans. Work includes mobilization, storm water pollution prevention, traffic control, trenching, grading, compaction, concrete flatwork, installation of a restroom pad, and all related underground utilities and site restoration. At Northampton Park, the work includes installation of a new 6-inch sanitary sewer main extension and manhole connecting to the existing City system, a new 4- inch sanitary sewer lateral from the new manhole to the restroom pad, and an extension of the existing 1.5-inch domestic water line to the restroom location. At Silver Oak Park, the work includes installation of a new 4-inch sanitary sewer lateral to the existing sewer system, extension of the existing 1.5-inch domestic water line. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish, with the Agreement, a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement price and a Payment for Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement price. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish, prior to issuance of a Notice of Completion, a Warrantee Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the final Agreement price. The successful Contractor shall also furnish Certificates of Insurance evidencing that all insurance coverage required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS has been so secured. No bid will be accepted from a bidder who is not licensed in the State of California as a Class A License, (licensed in accordance with the provisions of Division 3, Chapter 9, of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California).
