General work description: The San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit proposals for the sitewide removal and replacement of existing drinking fountains and related infrastructure. The work shall be performed at fourteen sites. The project may involve areas throughout the campuses attached to buildings, free standing, and pedestal applications. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of existing drinking fountains with new drinking fountains, related plumbing infrastructure, and pipe rail barriers as needed. New drinking fountains will be procured by the San Bernardino City Unified School District for the awarded Contractor to install Question Deadline date changed from 10/03/2025 to 10/07/2025 11:00am as per Addendum 1 Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10%of the total bid price, payable to San Bernardino City Unified School District, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to San Bernardino City Unified School District so that it is received within 15 working daysafter the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
