K-8 School - Additional Sports Lighting The Project consists of, but not limited to, the following scope: Installation of pole mounted sports lighting at the fields. In addition, if the Project has electrical, mechanical, or plumbing components that will be performed by subcontractors performing under the following license classification(s), then each of those subcontractors that intend to bid as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor (prime contractor) are required to have been prequalified by the District: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: Class B As security for its Bid, each Bidder shall provide with its Bid form o a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, o cash, or o a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the San Bernardino City Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLT-0628 awarded to San Bernardino County by the United States Department of Treasury. Federal funds are being used by Owner for this Contract, either in whole or in part, and thus the Contract is subject to, and Contractor shall comply with, all applicable federal laws, rules, regulations, and other requirements, including but not limited to the federal regulations set forth in CFR Title 2, Part 200, and the requirements set forth in Article 25 of the General Conditions.
