Replacement of an existing 4- pipe air handling unit serving the Elevator Machine Room with a new split-system electric heat-pump air handler, HVAC controls, and electrical alterations. Controls include compatible connection to the existing building management system. Electrical alterations include Elevator Code compliance improvements for electrical power, new emergency power circuits from the existing emergency power system, separation of power to dedicated circuits, lighting, and fire alarm systems modifications. Project Location: Studebaker West Halls, 1401 Neely Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47306 Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, made payable to the order of Dr. Sue Moore, Interim Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer for Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, or by an acceptable bidder's bond for an amount not less than 5 percent of the total bid price. The contractor awarded work shall be required to furnish an acceptable surety bond in the full amount of the contract. Ball State University reserves the right to reject any bids or all bids, to make any combination thereof, to waive any informality therein, and to return any unopened bids received after the time fixed herein.
