Renovation of an educational facility in Muncie, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Scope of Work to include, but not limited to: Modernization of an existing bank of 2 traction elevators in a 4-car group, including replacing of drive machines, ropes, controllers, governors, safeties, car stations, hall stations, door operators, and traveling cables. Alterations include Code compliance improvements for ADA accessibility, fire alarm system modifications, electrical system modifications, car controls, and pit equipment. Controls include provision for Owner-provided access control devices and in-car video. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, made payable to the order of Dr. Sue Moore, Interim Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer for Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, or by an acceptable bidder's bond for an amount not less than 5 percent of the total bid price. Ball State University reserves the right to reject any bids or all bids, to make any combination thereof, to waive any informality therein, and to return any unopened bids received after the time fixed herein.
