SCOPE OF WORK. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. Morrison Park is located at the intersection of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Forest Cove Lane in the City of Agoura Hills. The Morrison Park ADA Path of Travel Improvements Project is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The Project includes the replacement of inclusive playground equipment, removal of wood chips, installation of pour-in-place rubber flooring surface, concrete work, minor drainage work, removing and replacing benches, minor rehabilitation of the existing parking lot and various site ADA accessibility upgrades. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer Request For Information no later than 3:00 p.m. on October 2, 2025. BONDS. Each Bid must be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, certified check, or Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety insurer, made payable to the City and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid submitted. Personal or company checks are not acceptable. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. All Work shall be completed within 55 Working Days following the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed from the City. There will be a $600 assessment for each Day that Work remains incomplete beyond the time specified for the completion of the Work in the Contract Documents.
