No definite date for the rebid.** The City of Calabasas invites qualified and licensed contractors to submit proposals for the replacement of the existing fire alarm control panel and associated devices at the Calabasas Community Center, located at 27040 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas, CA 91301. Question Deadline 10/29/2025 at 2:00 PM PT Questions to egreen@cityofcalabasas.com Location: Calabasas Community Center (CCC) Scope: Remove and replace the existing defective Notifier fire panel and associated devices with a new addressable Notifier NFS-640 system, including all programming, testing, and coordination with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). 3.1 Demolition and Preparation o Remove and properly dispose of the existing fire alarm control panel, associated devices, and cabling as needed. o Protect surrounding finishes, electrical infrastructure, and HVAC systems during work. o Maintain access to all areas of the Community Center during construction. 3.2 Installation o Furnish and install all components as outlined under the Notifier NFS-640 system, or City-approved equivalent. o Provide all wiring, terminations, device addressing, and labeling in accordance with NFPA 72. o Install: o One (1) Notifier NFS-640 Addressable Control Panel o One (1) Remote Annunciator (Lobby) o Two (2) Audio Message Generator/Amplifiers o One (1) Cellular Dialer o Twenty (20) HVAC duct detectors with test tubes o One (1) addressable smoke detector o Twenty (20) relay modules o Two (2) SLA 12V 26Ah batteries o Program the system, test all functions, and integrate with the existing central monitoring station. 3.3 Testing and Commissioning o Perform a pre-test to verify system operation prior to AHJ inspection. o Coordinate final testing and acceptance with the Los Angeles County Fire Department (or applicable AHJ). o Submit a certificate of completion and test results upon approval. 3.4 Documentation and Training o Provide engineered drawings, wiring diagrams, and device layout plans. o Submit all required submittals and O&M manuals. o Conduct one (1) on-site training session for City staff on system operation and maintenance.
