Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Agoura Hills, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of June 24,2025, the project was awarded to JT Construction Groups, Inc., but the awarded amount is not available.** A total of one (1) fully executed electronic original of the complete Bid package must be submitted by the noticed deadline above. Bid results are automatically made public through online upon Bid closure. SCOPE OF WORK. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. The scope of work includes removal and hauling of existing concrete sidewalk, curb, gutter, driveways, and asphalt; construction of new curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, and ADA ramps; grinding and/or saw-cutting of raised sidewalk; applying concrete patches to existing sidewalk; and preparation and implementation of traffic control plans by a qualified subcontractor. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE VISIT. There is no mandatory pre-bid meeting required for this project. Every Bidder is encouraged to visit and get familiar with the streets included in this project. No allowances for cost adjustments will be made if a Bidder fails to adequately examine the Project site before submitting a Bid. REQUESTS FOR CLARIFICATION. If you discover any error, omission, ambiguity or conflict in the Plans or Specifications and wish to have a clarification, please submit a request for clarification through online by 5 p.m. local time on Friday, May 9, 2025. Requests for clarification received after 5 p.m. local time on Friday, May 9, 2025, will be disregarded. Reponses to request for clarification will be posted via an addendum no later than 5 p.m. local time on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Please indicate the Project and identification number in your request for clarification. BONDS. Each Bid must be separately accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, certified check or Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety insurer, made payable to the City and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid submitted, as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Personal or company checks are not acceptable. Upon Contract award, the Contractor shall provide faithful performance and payment Bonds, each in a sum equal to the Contract Price. LICENSES. Each Bidder shall possess a valid Class A Contractor's license issued by the California State Contractors License Board at the time of the Bid submission, unless this Project has any federal funding, in which case the successful Bidder must possess such a license at the time of Contract award. The successful Contractor must also possess a current City business license. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. All Work shall be completed within 45 Working Days following the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed from the City. There will be a $600 assessment for each Day that Work remains incomplete beyond the time specified for the completion of the Work in the Contract Documents. BIDDING PROCESS. The City reserves the right to reject any Bid or all Bids, terminate this bid process, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid or in the bidding, as deemed to be in its best interest.
