Site work for a mixed-use development in Tolono, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Parking Lot Storm Sewer Construction Proposals must be submitted on the Bid Form furnished. If the proposal is accepted, the bidder will be required to file an acceptable Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance within twenty-one (21) days after the award of the Contract. The Proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Attention to bidders is called to Sections of the Illinois Revised Statutes (1981) pertaining to the prevailing wage law. The awarding authority has established the rates for the various classifications of workmen and craftsmen on the proposed improvement and the contractor will be required to comply with the requirement of this statute. A copy of the prevailing wage determination is included in Section 00 73 46 of the project manual. The Village of Tolono reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. A bidder may withdraw from the possession of the Village, his or her submitted bid only prior to the previously stated closing time for receipt of the bids. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids, for a period of sixty (60) days. There will be no Pre-Bid Conference for this project. Bid security is not required.
