General Cargo Terminal Facility Upgrades A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid is required. POI intends to award the contract to the lowest and best bid. Ports of Indiana is issuing this bid package for upgrades to the General Cargo Facility, including, but not limited to, repair and upgrade of one (1) existing 35-ton gantry crane, building modifications, concrete work, overhead door installation, installation of gutters and downspouts. and associated work as designed and specified in the project drawings and specifications, built in accordance with Ports of Indiana and State of Indiana requirements. Questions from interested parties concerning this bid shall be submitted at least five business days prior to the bid date and time if an answer is desired prior to the bid date. Submitted questions along with available answers are posted to the Q and A Form in the link sent to all plan holders, which is a material part of the contract. This form will not be updated after 12:00 PM two business days prior to the bid date. There may be questions shown on the Q and A Form without posted answers. Therefore, bidders are advised to prepare their bids based on the contract documents as issued. Question Deadline 11/07/2025
