Site work for a water / sewer project in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project adds fine screening and flow measurement equipment for wet-weather flows between the existing headworks and high-rate clarification (Actiflo) system at the Jeffersonville Downtown WWTP. The scope includes a concrete channel structure with railings, cantilevered platform, and removable grating; one mechanically cleaned screen rated for a peak 25 million gallons per day (MGD); one 24-inch flume and level sensor for flow measurement; one 36-inch plug valve housed in a valve vault; yard piping; and all associated electrical and controls for each. Additional work includes removal of existing infrastructure; upsizing of existing sanitary sewerage piping; replumbing of chemical feed piping; a proposed asphalt drive, concrete pad; and all associated site work and grading. Bids shall be on a lump sum, with alternate and unit cost bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding.
