Renovation of a conference / convention center in Athens, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The CCA intends for the Project result to be a significant renovation and updating of th existing Athena Ballroom of the Classic Center facilities, a popular public assembly facility for the convention venue in the City of Athens and a successful enhancement to the CCA campus that incorporates the latest in design and efficiency for ultimate operations. The Project will include carpeting for 35,000 ft. ballroom and pre-function area, acoustical ceiling, lighting, paint and wall coverings, and operable wall partitions which must be designed to meet the current best practices and standards for such spaces and meet the needs of known and potential CCA clients and stakeholders. Deadline for submission of written questions and requests for clarification9/26/25 2:00 PM CCA provides answers/clarifications/addenda- 9/29/25 Questions about any aspect of the RFQ, or the project, shall be submitted prior to the appropriate deadlines indicated in the Schedule of Events, and be submitted in writing to: Richard Sawyer, via email: richard@classiccenter.com CCA retains the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications or any subsequent submittals and/or proposals, and to waive technicalities, irregularities, and informalities. The final terms of any Agreement shall comply with applicable Georgia and federal laws. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
