sealed bids for Professional Services for the Greenbelt Trail Crescent Avenue Connector to prepare detailed design services related to bicycle and pedestrian accommodations along Crescent Avenue, between South Broadway/ NY 9 and Nelson Avenue/ Nelson Avenue Ext. The project also includes a property and topographical survey, development of 30/60/90% plans for review and final construction plans and specifications, along with bid services, for bicycle and pedestrian accommodations and/or improvements that provide for safe and efficient transportation of pedestrians and bicycles along Crescent Avenue as envisioned in the Saratoga Greenbelt Trail plans. An alternate task will include a schematic level plan and preliminary cost estimate for bicycle and pedestrian accommodations on Crescent Avenue between Nelson Avenue / Nelson Avenue Ext. and Union Avenue / NY 9P. All bids must be made on the official bid form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed is a sealed envelope. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A Bidder may withdraw their bid response in writing immediately following this sixty (60) day per New York State Finance Law 163(9)(e). The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bid documents per New York State Finance Law 163(9)(d). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
