As of February 4, 2026, per the owner, this project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. ..................................................... The scope of work requested in this RFP is the preparation of the full set of construction documents for the design of an Emergency Operation Center (EOC) , necessary to bid and construct the project. This includes the preparation of the Plans, Specifications and Engineer's Estimates, obtaining any permits required for the project such as building permits, utility permits, etc. and clearances. This RFP explicitly requires that the space within the building be designed and constructed to meet Essential Facility standards, including Risk Category IV structural criteria to ensure life safety and continued operation during extreme events, redundant power systems with appropriately sized UPS and backup generator capacity to support critical functions without interruption, HVAC systems with emergency pressurization and filtration to maintain air quality, pressure differentials, and occupant protection during hazardous conditions, and resilient ICT and AV infrastructure capable of supporting secure, 24/7 communications, data management, and situational awareness during EOC .
