Renovation of a multi-residential development in South Gate, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
**As of December 8, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental for the HUD Healthy Homes Program (HH-024) at specified properties. Contractors must attend a mandatory Pre Quote/Job Walk Meeting for all properties. Quotes must include a completed quote sheet, required forms, proof of contractor's license, EPA certification, RRP Renovator Certification, insurance coverage, and a cover letter. Quotes should be electronically uploaded per instructions. Contractors are responsible for timely delivery. The scope of work is further detailed in Appendix B - "Scope of Work." Contractors must provide insurance (General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Automobile, Crime, Pollution Liability, and License Surety Bond) and possess a B-General Building Contractor License, EPA Lead-Safe Certification, and RRP Renovator Certification. Work must commence within 10 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 30 calendar days, with a penalty of $500 per day for non-compliance. Additional requirements include participation in GAIN/START, Child Support Compliance, EEO Act, Fair Chance Employment practices, and other LACDA policies.
