Avery County Schools is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for Snow Removal Services for the 2025- 2026 winter season. Services are to be provided at all Avery County school locations, including the Central Services facility. Scope of Work: The selected vendor will be responsible for timely and effective removal of snow and ice from: School Facility Roads and Parking lots Services must ensure safe and accessible operations at all school sites during inclement weather. Service Locations: All Avery County public schools Avery County Schools Central Services Office. Requirements: Proof of liability insurance List of available snow removal equipment References from comparable contracts Availability for emergency and after-hours response Avery County Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract(s) deemed in the best interest of the school system.
