The Park Restroom & Concessions Project includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the renovations and improvements to the existing block building located at the Center Township Park to construct ADA restrooms and Concessions areas. This project is subject to the PA Separations Act of 1913 and is separated into four (4) prime contracts for General Trades, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing, which cumulatively include the total project scope. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Center Township. The bid envelope must be clearly marked Center Township Park Restroom & Concessions Project. Center Township reserves the rights to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the Park Restroom & Concessions Project. Awarded bidder shall provide a 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, and 10% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Center Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
