Reference Number 0000399133 This Project consists of the improvements to Repair and Reconstruction of City Garages & Various Facilities, F.Y. 2025. The scope of the work consists of the following work items: 1. General Construction Contract (Contract A) a. Routing & Sealing of Cracks b. Concrete Repair of Decks/Beams/Columns/Curbs c. Supplemental Post-Tension Beams at the South Avenue Garage d. Expansion Joint Replacement e. Elastomeric Coatings on Faces of Concrete Beams f. Application of New Waterproofing Membrane on Decks & Curbs g. Application of a Traffic Topping on Elevated Decks h. Removal/Replacement of Cove Sealants, Joint Sealants & Expansion Joints Sealants i. Winter Weather Heating Provisions for Placement of Concrete j. Repair of concrete stairs and appurtenances at the South Avenue Garage k. Construction of a new slab and enclosure for an emergency generator at the South Avenue Garage l. Alternate One (GC-1): Supplemental Post-Tension Beams and Concrete Repairs to the South Avenue Wing of the South Avenue Garage 2. Electrical Construction Contract (Contract B) a. Replacement of electrical switchgear at the South Avenue Garage including disposing old equipment b. Furnishing and installing a new emergency generator at the South Avenue Garage c. Removal of an existing natural gas generator from service, including removal of an exhaust line and a gas supply line at the South Avenue Garage REQUIREMENTS: This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Program and waiver requirements; MWBE goals and waiver requirements; and Workforce Goals Requirements. This contract contains new requirements for NY State Wicks Law. Participation Requirements - Minority Business Participation - Women-Owned Business Participation General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 100 % Question Deadline 10/17/2025 the Bidder will be required to complete and furnish a Confidential Questionnaire within forty-eight (48) hours of the request by the City Engineer or Director of Purchasing.
