A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to the Order of the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation, Negotiable U.s. Government Bonds, or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder, and an Acceptable Surety Authorized to Do Business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid for the West Gable Wall Replacement at Mt. Pleasant Glass Center Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds Each in the Amount of 110% of the Contract Price, and Certificate of Insurance Prior to the Award of the Contract. The Wcidc Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Bids May Be Held by the Wcidc for a Period Not to Exceed Sixty (60) Days From the Date of the Opening of the Bids for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of the Bidders Prior to Awarding the Contract. All Pertinent Records Must Be Maintained by the Contractor and All Subcontractors for Seven (7) Years From the End of the Contract.
