Site work, paving, outdoor lighting, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Harlem, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,135-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of: Site clearing and grading of approximately 9.09 acres including a detention pond, site water and sewer utilities, drainage and parking lot improvements, a 1,325 square foot bathroom facility, splash pad (coordinate installation by others), playground equipment, small pavilion, approximately 500 feet of 6 foot chain link fence, 245 feet of 4 foot iron decorative fence, 78 feet of split rail fence with brick posts, 3 flag poles with 24 square yards of herringbone brick base, site irrigation system, 18 site lighting lamps and 6 spot lights, decorative trash receptacles, picnic tables, including best management practices for soil erosion and sediment control and appurtenances. Time allotted for completion shall be 180 consecutive calendar days. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the City of Harlem, in the amount of at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Harlem. Each bond shall be equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Harlem as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 11-13-2025.
