Refer to the Plans and the Specifications, and provide all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to complete required work for the Show Grounds Spectator Building and Emergency Shelter Building Plumbing Contract, Lake Placid, New York. Prevailing Wage Rates shall be paid to workers on the project. The Town of North Elba is exempt from paying sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York, and its cities and counties, on all materials to be incorporated into the work. Location: 5514 Cascade Road, Lake Placid, NY 12946 End of Questions: (Close of Business) 26 September 2025 Anticipated Award Date: 8 October 2025 Site Access and Plumbing Start Date: 20 October 2025 Substantial Completion: 1 June 2026 Final Completion: 15 June 2026. Only Registered Plan Holders shall be allowed to submit a bid. To become a Registered Plan Holder and to obtain bidding documents the following information shall be submitted to North Woods Engineering: Organization Name and Mailing Address, Primary and Secondary Contact Names, Phone Numbers and Email Addresses. Bidding documents will be distributed electronically. (Phone requests will not be honored.) Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the contract documents from North Woods Engineering. Bid selection will be made to the lowest qualified, responsible Bidder. The Town of North Elba reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality therein, and to select the Bid, the acceptance of which, in its judgment, will best assure the efficient performance of the Work. Work in the Plumbing Contract includes but is not limited to the following 1. Coordination with all other Prime Contractors. 2. Installing all plumbing fixtures not provided within the modular building sections (Refer to drawings). 3. Provide domestic hot and cold water distribution lines and supports, valves and insulation not provided within the modular building sections. (Refer to drawings) 4. Provide domestic hot and cold water connections to and between the modular building sections. 5. Provide waste vent piping and sanitary waste piping within the building not provided within the modular building sections, and up to 5 feet outside the building. 6. Provide waste vent piping and sanitary waste piping connections to and between modular buildings sections. 7. Provide fire suppression system including dedicated fire service entrance, piping, hangers, and heads. 8. Install domestic water lateral from a point 5 feet outside the building to all points within the building. 9. Conduct all work in accordance with all applicable codes and standards as detailed by the Project Plans. 10. Clean and remove all associated plumbing construction debris and subslab excavated materials and properly dispose of. Restore areas disturbed or otherwise impacted by construction activity to preexisting conditions, unless otherwise noted.
