Each Bidder must deposit with his/hers bid, security in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. All bidders must show proof that he/she is licensed in the State of Louisiana to perform Building Construction. Contractor's license number must appear on the face of the sealed envelope containing his/hers bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to business in Louisiana, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of opening thereof.
