The project also includes modifications to campus chilled water piping, replacement of air handler chilled water control valves, demolition of existing booster pumps, and upgrading the existing Building Automation System (BAS) Each bid and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond with an approved surety company as surety, payable to Los Angeles County Sanitation District No. 2 or other authorized security provided by Public Contract Code 20784, for an amount equal to at least ten percent of the amount bid as a guaranty that the bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract satisfactory to the Board of Directors for completing the work contemplated.
