Renovation of a mixed-use development in Pleasant Hill, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** 2025 City Hall First Floor Offices and PD Dispatch Carpet Replacement Each Bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for 90 days from the date of bid opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. The successful bidder shall furnish the following bonds: 1) Performance 2) Labor and Material and 3) Maintenance. The City reserves the right, after opening bids, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality (non-responsiveness) in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and reject all other bids, as may best serve the interest of the City. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $155,000 LOCATION AND SCOPE OF WORK: City of Pleasant Hill City Hall - 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill CA 94523 The work to be done is located on the first floor of the City Hall building at 100 Gregory Lane, in the City of Pleasant Hill. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the removal and disposal of the old carpet and padding and the installation of new carpet tile and pads in 18 offices and 2 conference rooms on the first floor and 1 Information Technology room on the second floor. The selected contractor is required to coordinate with the City and allow adequate time for the manufacturing and delivery of the carpet, as well as be responsible for the pickup, storage, and delivery of the new carpet to City Hall for installation. The contractor is also responsible for the relocation and replacement of the existing office furniture and equipment for the carpet installation. All work shall be done during non-business hours (weekend work is anticipated), from Friday at 1:00 P.M.to Monday at 5:00 A.M. City of Pleasant Hill Police Department - 330 Civic Drive, Pleasant Hill CA 94523 The work to be done is located at the Dispatch Center at the Police Department building at 330 Civic Drive, in the City of Pleasant Hill. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the removal and disposal of the old carpet and padding and the installation of new carpeting and pads; The selected contractor is required to coordinate with the Police Department and allow adequate time for the manufacturing and delivery of the anti-static carpet squares for the dispatch area and 24" carpet tile for three PD offices and as well as be responsible for the pickup, storage, and delivery of the new carpet and furniture to the Police Department for installation. The contractor is also responsible for coordinating with City staff their work schedule to allow appropriate time for City staff to relocate the existing dispatch center and equipment to allow for the work. All work shall be done 7:00 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday to Friday. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools and incidentals and performing all operations in connection with purchasing of the new carpet tile, including carpet adhesive, from the carpet manufacturer, the temporary storage of the new carpet, the shipping of the new carpet from the storage facility to City Hall and the Police Department Facility, the removal of the existing carpet and padding, the off-haul and disposal of the existing carpet and padding, all the prep work prior to the new carpet installation, and the installation of the new carpet and carpet padding, including the 4" baseboard and doorway transition hardware
