Site work for a water / sewer project in Cornelia, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work to be completed consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to install approximately 4,000 LF of 8" sanitary sewer main, 5,400 LF 6" and 2" water main, and 300 LF CPP storm pipe including, but not limited to, fire hydrants, valves, manholes, storm structures, pavement replacement, earthwork, grassing, soil erosion and sedimentation control measures, and appurtenances necessary to provide a complete installation. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days. The Work will be awarded in one Contract. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Bidders must complete the Qualifications of Bidder (Section 00470) and provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a "Utility Contractor" and employ a "Utility Manager" certification holder who will have oversight of all utility work. All qualifying Contractors and Subcontractors must register and participate in the federal work authorization program (E-Verify) and submit the Bidder's Affidavit of Compliance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 with the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
