Site work for a water / sewer project in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work to be performed consists of providing all labor, material and equipment necessary for the construction of the Riverland Dr. 16" Main Rehabilitation Project, which includes installing approximately 630 LF of Aramid Fiber Reinforced Flexible Fabric-Reinforced Pipe (FFRP) liner in a 16" cast iron pipe water main. No bypass is required. Open cut installation must be with the contractor's own personnel or an approved Charleston Water System contractor. Pre-qualification requirements: Contractors, their project managers, and their superintendents must have experience with open cut construction of 6-inch through 16-inch (and larger) cast-iron pressure pipe in existing urban residential areas. Contractors must possess a current SC LLR General Contractors License WL5. Contractors must be able to demonstrate through their project references the ability to complete projects on time in accordance with the project's construction schedule and contract documents. Interested contractors must complete and submit a pre-qualification package.
