Skanska is soliciting all interested subcontractors and suppliers, as well as certified Small, Veteran, Minority & Woman owned companies for the bid package listed below. This project has 5% SBE, 3% VOB, 10% MBE and 6% WBE participation goals. Skanska intends to conduct itself in good faith with all interested subcontractors as well as certified SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE firms looking for subcontract opportunities on this project. If you are a SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE firm, please provide your certification with your proposal. About the Project Skanska has been awarded the SR 520, I-5 to Montlake - I/C and Bridge Replacement project in Seattle, Washington. This project will replace the existing Portage Bay Bridge, with two new parallel variable depth segmental box girder bridges across Portage Bay, the existing SR 520 eastbound off-ramp structure to Montlake Boulevard East, the existing 10th Ave E and Delmar E under-crossings with a new Roanoke Lid Bridge, and provide approximately 75 retaining walls. This project will also extend the SR 520's transit/HOV system from Montlake to I-5 and the cross-lake bicycle and pedestrian trail over Portage Bay to a new lid between Delmar Drive East and 10th Avenue East.
