Supply, place, grade, and compact a minimum 4" depth of crushed aggregate base course (granite) meeting Wisconsin Department of Transportation specifications at the following locations: Timber Lane Road from CTH "Y" to Hi Line Avenue (1.0 mile, 24' wide, 4" thickness, approximately 1,550 CY in place compacted); Pine Creek Road from Hi Line Avenue to Fairhaven Avenue (1.0 mile, 26' wide, 4" thickness, approximately 1,680 CY in place compacted); Fremont Road from Sandhill Avenue to Division Avenue (1.0 mile, 30' wide, 4" thickness, approximately 1,940 CY in place compacted). Provide one lump sum bid including all locations and the contractor's estimated loose truck haul volume. Also provide a second lump sum bid including all locations and the contractor's estimated loose truck haul volume for an additional 2" compacted depth. The contractor is responsible for viewing all roads and becoming completely familiar with the sites as specified, and for conversion of compacted in place approximate quantities to loose truck haul volumes for the material supplied to meet the specified minimum 4" compacted depth. All proposals shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked accordingly. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or waive any irregularities in proposals.
