Site work and renovation of a civil project in Wallis, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Mercer Controls was awarded this project in the amount of $116,387. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1.Water Well 1 Plant Electrical & Controls Modifications (Base Bid). 2.Water Plant 2 Electrical & Controls Modifications (Additive Alternate Bid). A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Wallis or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Wallis reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Work shall be completed by December 31, 2025. MBE (24.1%), WBE (6.9%) The project will consist of the City of Wallis Water Well #1 Plant and Water Plant 2 Improvements. Scope of work will include but not to be limited to: BASE BID - WATER WELL #1 PLANT New Control Panel; Electrical and SCADA Improvements; Demolition. ADDITIVE ALTERNATE BID - WATER PLANT 2 SCADA Improvements; Alarm Autodialer; ADDITIVE ALTERNATE BID - ENTIRE PROJECT SCADA Programming Question Deadline 10/03/2025 Bidders desiring further information or interpretation of the plans or specifications must make such request for such information to the ENGINEER, at least five (5) days before the bid opening.
