0055H - Post Road & West Main Street Curb & Sidewalk Federal Aid Project No. NHP-5120001 & NHP-5120002 This project consists of curb and sidewalk improvements on Post Road from Camp Avenue to West Main Street and on West Main Street from Post Road to Brown Street (total of 2.14 miles) in North Kingston, Rhode Island. The proposed work on this project will include, but is not limited to installation of new precast concrete curb and new cement concrete sidewalks along Post Road, installation of new granite curb and reconstruction of the existing exposed aggregate sidewalk along West Main Street within the Wickford Historic District, installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, traffic and pedestrian signal improvements, micromilling and resurfacing pavement, curb line adjustments, new pavement markings, drainage system improvements, construction of stormwater treatment units (STUs), placement of plantable soil and seed, and new tree installations on West Main Street.
