The City and County of San Francisco, through the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), seeks responses to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified Electrical and Solar PV Contractors interested in PV system construction, PV system refurbishment, PV system troubleshooting and repair, and electrical services associated with PV systems including programming and metering of solar and associated equipment. The objective of the projects is to perform Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Services, PV system construction, PV system refurbishment, PV system troubleshooting and repair, electrical services associated with PV systems including programming and metering of solar and associated equipment, to be performed in the City and County of San Francisco, California. Class “C-10” and “C-46” California Contractor’s Licenses are required for the Application. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing. Bid discounts and rating bonuses may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) subcontracting requirement is 14.00% for each Master Agreement. The LBE subcontracting requirement can only be met with CMD certified San Francisco Micro and Small-LBEs. SFPUC-LBEs cannot be counted towards meeting the LBE subcontracting requirement(s). Failure to comply with Chapter 14B requirements may result in an Application being deemed non-responsive and ineligible for Master Agreement award. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited to, the following major types of work: Photovoltaic (PV) system construction, PV system refurbishment, PV system troubleshooting and repair, electrical services associated with PV systems including programming and metering of solar and associated equipment.
