Renovation of an educational facility in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of November 24th, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project. Installation of 32 security cameras at various locations throughout residence halls. Special Considerations: Contractor will need to work with Residential life to arrange controlled access to installation locations. Contractor must be certified to work with and install Avigilon Camera systems. Contractor must use network cabling matching UNR design standards (Belden of Commscope depending on location) and provide certified test results per UNR OIT standards on any new cabling installed. Estimated Cost Range: $75,000 to $175,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Liquidated Damages: $500/day. Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Installation Floater will be required. Please refer to the TEMPLATE-Owner-Contractor Construction Agreement on the Attachments tab for limits and additional information and in compliance with the requirements set forth here at online. Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "November 6, 2025" and shall be fully complete by "February 27, 2026."
