Island beach state park shoreline stabilization project. The proposed work includes the shoreline stabilization and restoration of the Area 15 Kayak Launch within Island Beach State Park in Berkeley Township, Ocean County, NJ through construction of T-groins, beach restoration, native plantings, and all related work. Appropriate proof of this registration should be provided to NJDEP prior to award of contract. Review and approval of new pre-qualification packages by the Office typically takes 10-12 calendar days, depending upon applicant's responsiveness. Proposals will not be considered unless accompanied by certified check or bid bond in the amount often percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid and a certified statement from a bonding company stating that it will furnish necessary performance and payment bonds in the amount of the contract in accordance with N.J.S.A. 2a:44-147 inclusive, with sureties satisfactory to the state of new jersey. Minimum wage rates for this project shall be as specified in the "Prevailing wage determination of the new jersey department of labor and workforce development" on file with NJDEP. The entire work is to be completed with the contract time stated within the bid documents. The department of environmental protection reserves the right to waive any minor informality in a bid or to reject any or all bids pursuant to law.
