Bid forms, contracts, and specifications can be obtained by contacting Remington & Vernick Engineers. Payment must be received prior to obtaining specifications. All bids are to be delivered prior to the bid opening date and time. Bids must be on the form prepared by Remington & Vernick Engineers, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and reference to the particular work bid upon. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of not less than ten percent (10%) but not in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid, as well as a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide a completion bond. The award of the contract is subject to the provision of necessary funds and securing required permits. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable affirmative action, prevailing wage, contractor registration, and business registration acts. No interpretations of the meaning of the drawings, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally Every request for such interpretation should be made in writing, addressed to the Engineer, and to be given consideration, must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the final date fixed for receiving bids. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
