Site work for a water / sewer project in Hilliard, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
DOW #24-107, HP 1042 This project consists of installation of 1,191 linear feet of 8-inch and 83 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron waterline, including valves, hydrants, and appurtenances. Seven commercial water services will require reconnection. The project also involves pavement planing and resurfacing of Center, Grant, and Franklin Streets within the project limits. The bid schedule includes contingency quantities for replacing any lead or galvanized services in compliance with City of Columbus Ordinance 1627-2024. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $757,500, and no bid exceeding this estimate by more than ten percent (10%) will be accepted. Bidders are instructed to review the plan notes on sheet 3 for additional information regarding lead service replacement. This project is funded through local sources and is subject to state prevailing wage requirements, with no DBE goal. Bidders are directed to the 'Information for Bidders' for additional requirements and information. Any contractor questions on technical plans and specifications should be entered in the Q&A section.
