Site work and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Hilliard, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

This project consists of routine traffic signal maintenance activities at the following four intersections in the City of Hilliard: 1. Davidson Road/Trueman Boulevard/Edwards Farms Road 2. Fishinger Boulevard/Park Mill Run Drive/Ridge Mill Drive 3. Trueman Boulevard/North Target Dwy/Primrose Dwy 4. Scioto Darby Road/Alton & Darby Creek Road/Latham Park No bid will be accepted if it exceeds the Engineer's estimate by more than ten percent (10%). This project is being funded through local funds. State prevailing wage applies to this project. There is no DBE goal. Question Deadline 01/29/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Scope of Work 1. Replace and rewire all vehicular signal heads. Signal head configuration shall match existing field conditions and shall be installed at the same location along the mast arm. 2. Replace and rewire all pedestrian signal heads. Pedestrian signal heads shall be installed at the same location, side mounted to the support pole. 3. Replace and rewire all pedestrian pushbuttons. Pedestrian pushbuttons shall be installed at the same location as the existing pushbuttons. 4. Rewire all vehicular signal heads, pedestrian signal heads, pushbuttons and luminaires. 5. Remove and dispose of all vehicular and pedestrian signal heads, and pushbuttons. 6. Remove and dispose of all old cable, including the loop detector lead-in cable for the abandoned inductance detection loops. Unused loop detector units shall be removed and disposed of from the controller cabinet. 7. The existing Gridsmart video detection system shall not be disturbed, and the Contractor shall ensure all zones are accurately detecting vehicles upon completion of work. 8. All existing mast arm mounted signage shall remain in place, installed at the current locations. 9. Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) requirements: a. The contractor shall perform all work during off-peak hours. Off-peak hours are defined as 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. b. The contractor may utilize the curb lanes on all approaches for staging equipment / materials. Contractor shall not block sidewalks, curb ramps and shared-use paths for staging equipment/materials. c. Arrow boards and MOT schemes to be set up by the contractor. Curb lane closures shall be in accordance with SCD's MOT 95.30, 95.31 and 95.32. A return to existing traffic patterns shall be established by 4:00 PM as indicated in the approved work hours. d. The contractor shall use law enforcement officers (LEOs) when the traffic signal is on flash or dark. No LEOs are required for lane closures provided the traffic signal is operating under normal conditions.
