The Project consists of the following scope of work. The Project consists of constructing approximately 20 miles of 4-inch, 6-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch diameter gasketed joint polyvinyl chloride pipeline, connections to existing pipelines, cleanouts, road and stream crossings, appurtenances, one (1) prefabricated steel meter vault, one (1) 175 KW generator set, and replacement of two (2) existing prefabricated steel booster vaults, required by the Project Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The project is located in Hand and Jerauld Counties in South Dakota. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in the amount of ten (10) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid Price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) in the form of a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Condition or by a certified check or bank money order payable to the Owner in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bidders maximum bid price. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Presidents Executive Order Nos. 11518, and 11625 as amended. Bidders on this work are advised that the funding and/or regulatory agency for this project is the State of South Dakota. The low responsive bidder will be required to certify compliance with the Bui ld America Buy America Act. The low responsive bidder must fulfill the requirements of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts Labor Standards for federally assisted construction contracts. The low responsive bidder must assure compliance with the requirements of Public Law 115-232, Section 889, Prohibition on Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment. Contractors must assure that telecommunications equipment produced by Huawei Technologies Company or ZTE Corporation (or any subsidiary or affiliate of such entities), and video surveillance and telecommunications equipment produced by Hytera Communications Corporation, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company, or Dahua Technology Company (or any subsidiary or affiliate of such entities) WILL NOT be supplied for the project.
