1. This work consists of excavation, hauling, disposal, placement and compaction of all material encountered within the limits of work necessary for the construction of the project. 2. Backfill, compaction and moisture conditioning shall meet City of Auroras standards and specifications. Backfill, compaction and moisture conditioning shall meet the requirements as specified in the geotechnical report(s) based on soil classifications. Contractor will be responsible for coordinating all testing as required. 3. All removals shall be removed from the site with disposal costs included in the bid price. 4. Excess earthwork materials generated from excavation for channel improvements shall be stockpiled on site as shown in the plans. 5. Stockpiles will need to managed and maintained per City of Aurora SWMP requirements. A description of the Work to be performed, including all materials and labor necessary for completion of the Work, is: Rye Grass Channel Improvements including Erosion Control, Channel Grading and Armoring, and Final Stabilization. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount will be required. The Successful Bidder for the Project will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents.
