Renovation of a residential development in Point Marion, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The County of Greene, an "Equal Opportunity Employer", will receive proposals for General Contractors to complete a home rehabilitation project in Dilliner, PA. Repairs will include, but are not limited to: roof membrane replacement, ceiling repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Deck replacement, flooring repairs, and other interior and exterior repairs. This service will be funded in part by federal grant funds through the HOME Investment Partnership Program administered by the County of Greene and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The home rehab program is seeking General Contractors with a current Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) License & insurance to rehabilitate this home to correct code deficiencies. Required general contractor services for this projects may include, but are not limited to: following the scope of work prepared by the housing inspector for work; following detailed work descriptions which cause the subject structure to meet acceptable HUD Quality Standards and local building codes; progress inspections (to include photo documentation at required intervals) and, with consultation with the County Housing Inspector, securing and documenting of related costs for the needed work write- up repairs. The general contractor shall procure and maintain (at its expense) subcontractors to complete any area of work which the general contractor is not qualified to complete (i.e., HVAC or other areas requiring licensure for which the general contractor is not licensed to complete nor employs any worker possessing such qualifications). Contracts will be signed between the Contractor and the Homeowner(s), with the County managing the project and providing payment to the contractors at specified intervals (upon satisfactory progress inspections). Prepared by W. Dickerson on 8/6/25 Item #1 Roof Membrane A. Install a EPDM roof membrane (45 mil), color shall be white, over the dwelling. B. Ensure a secure seal around all membrane penetrations.
