Site work for a water / sewer project in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Install 1,650 LF of 8” DIP and 6 fire hydrants in private mobile home parks. If you plan on bidding and are not already on the approved bidders list for this project, you are required to fill out the Plan Holders Submittal Form that is located on the City website. The Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, are on file at the City of Hastings. Copies of the plans and specifications in electronic (PDF) format may be obtained by visiting the City of Hastings Website; a paper copy is available for a fee. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Hastings, Nebraska, as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract and give bond for the construction of improvements. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening without the consent of the City of Hastings for a period of sixty (60) days after scheduled time of closing bids. The City will consider the timelines of completion of prior construction contracts, existing workload of bidders, and available manpower that bidder commits to the project. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum of the full amount of the Contract within ten (10) days of the date of award.
