Site work and renovation of a multi-residential development in Oshawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a multi-residential development; and for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Work to be completed during regular business hours Monday to Friday 8:30am -- 4:30pm unless approved by the project manager. Contractor to provide schedule for each level and door to be painted on Floors I-IO. The Region will require minimum 72 hours notice to open any occupied suite door. Contractor to dispose of all debris (no onsite dumping is permitted). Contractor shall ensure areas are always accessible for egress. Contractor shall clean all effected work areas upon completion of project. Cleaning shall include but is not limited to Walls, Doors, Flooring, Ceiling, Appliances, Windows, Electrical Fixtures and Plumbing Fixtures. Any damages to the site shall be repaired to original by Contractor. Contractor shall take all required measurements. Contractor shall provide signage indicating wet paint/material. Contractor to verify substrate being painted and prepare as required. The contractor shall protect all non-painted areas, such as floors, glass, hardware, fixtures, appliances and vinyl wall base. The contractor shall be held responsible for any related damages. The successful bidder shall supply a 24" x 24" sample for each color of paint. This sample shall be applied at the job site in an area approved by the project manager. All paint shall be applied at the manufacturer's recommended thickness per coat. Final coat shall be applied to provide a uniform colour that matches samples provided upon award of project. All paints shall be delivered to the job mixed and not altered at site. Contractor to verify substrate being painted. All paint shall be applied by brush or roller (use of paint sprayers is not permitted) Doors and door trim are to be painted on both sides. All surfaces must be prepared to smooth/uniform finish as identified in Section 2 The contractor shall protect all non-painted areas, such as floors, glass, hardware, handrails, fixtures, vinyl wall base or anywhere as directed by the project manager. The contractor shall be held responsible for any related damages. Contractor to supply 3.70 Liters (1 gallon) of paint for every finish/colour of paint that is applied.
