Question Deadline 10/20/2025 at 3:00 PM ET The Ontario Tech University (the "Institution") is seeking proposals for qualified mechanical contractors to facilitate the installation of a heat recovery chiller in the central plant. The project will involve all work detailed within the following deliverables along with associated bid documents. ' The Proponent shall be responsible for the installation of a new heat recovery chiller system in accordance with the engineered drawing package and specifications. The University has pre-purchased and will supply the following equipment for this project: 1 - "CH-1" High Temperature Heat Recovery Chiller 2 - "P-100A" Chilled Water Loop Pump 3 - "P-100B" Chilled Water Loop Pump 4 - "P-101A" Condenser Loop Pump 1 5 - "P-101B" Condenser Loop Pump 2 6 - "HEA-01" Heat Exchanger The Proponent is responsible for all other material and equipment required to complete the installation. The Proponent shall be responsible for completing all permitting applications (e.g., electrical installation, mechanical building permit,TSSA, etc.) and coordinating all required inspections to ensure compliance with local regulations and codes. The Proponent shall conduct commissioning of the equipment in coordination with the manufacturers, engineers, facilities staff, and project manager. The proponent is responsible for coordinating the BAS installations and commissioning with the universities base building BAS vendor, Siemens. All isolations of existing systems must be coordinated with the universities project manager and must provide minimal interruption to the campus. Include for all tie-ins to be conducted after hours. The Proponent shall provide any additional workmanship and equipment warranties beyond the manufacturer's warranty. The Proponent shall provide the Institution with all final schematics and drawings (e.g., single-line drawings, as-builts).
