1. The reconstruction of a 30' wide asphalt roadway that extends from New Road (U.S. Route 9) to Huron Avenue. The Base Bid includes a 4" Reclaimed Base Course with a 2" HMA Surface Course. 2. Replacement of concrete curbs, ADA compliant curb ramps, construction of concrete sidewalks, and construction of concrete driveways. 3. The construction of stormwater management improvements consisting of the installation of various inlets, high density polyethylene pipe, and associated trench restorations. 4. All other work is contained in the Plans and Specifications or as directed by the Engineer. Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are on file at Remington and Vernick Engineers. Bids must be prepared in accordance with the requirements set forth in the bid documents and specifications. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name, address, and the reference to the particular work bid upon. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but not more than $20,000.00 of the bid amount, as well as a certificate letter from a surety company stating it will provide a completion bond. The contract is subject to the necessary funds being lawfully provided and the securing of required State, Federal, or Local permits.
