Sealed bids will be received for the provision of supplies, materials, and work for the maintenance of equipment, roads, and bridges for the year 2026 for the Daviess County Highway Department. The items include: Lubricating Oil, Grease, Anti-Freeze; Culvert Types & Other Drainage Structures; Concrete & Masonry Products; Flowable Fill; Sand & Gravel; Crushed Stone; Precast Reinforced Concrete Box Sections; Bridge & Engineering Package; Tiling Various County Roads; and Calcium Chloride Solution. Detailed specifications and bid forms are available at the Daviess County Highway Department. Bids must include a bid bond or cashier's check equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, non-collusion affidavit, and 'Bid offer or proposal form' #DC-BOP. Item #9 requires form #96, payment bond, and insurance requirements. All bids must include an affidavit for the E-Verify Program and Suspension and Debarment Certification. A performance bond is required for the contract. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities in bidding. All state, federal, and local requirements, including non-discrimination provisions, must be followed.
