No definite date for the rebid.** RFP questions deadline:October 20, 2025, 5:00pm The City of Lakeland is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced State of Florida registered contractor for the construction of hydrologic enhancements to a flood compensation area and a shoreline enhancement of the Lake Parker existing shoreline. All work shall conform to the applicable technical specifications of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction, January 2025, and supplemental specifications, special provisions, and addenda, except as modified and supplemented therein. This work will include the following construction components: permits, equipment, labor, supervision and administration, mobilization, site preparation, arrival of required materials, excavation, structure installation, final grading, plant installation, site restoration, vegetation disposal, and demobilization/contract closeout. Proposals submitted and the contract, if awarded, shall be in complete accordance with this request for proposal, and the specifications and drawings as outlined in the scope of services. Bidders are required to submit their response through the specified e-Procurement Portal and must access and submit all required documents. There is a mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit.
