Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Onamia, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 320-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

The work consists of building a kitchen on-site, requiring hauling in materials and constructing a new kitchen with the following specifications: 16' x 20' wood frame, wood trusses, steel roof and steel outside walls, and two attached wooden decks. The project requires a steel finish on overhangs, no soffits or inside finish, two 36" metal doors with windows on both ends, two 48" x 36" sliding windows on both sides, and an open framed cabinet area with two stainless sinks (no plumbing). Decks will be treated wood at 12' x 16' on both sides, with roofing over the entire structure, including the deck areas, in metal. The ceiling over the decks will also be covered in metal. The whole structure, including decks, is to be built on skids made of three three-ply 2" x 6" x 44' runners placed on pre-set finished ground and Sono tubes at 18' x 46'. Provide all disposal receipts/logs and inventory of items as requested. Each proposal should include a completed and signed Construction Bid Form; current Mille Lacs Band Vendor's License or proof of a submitted application; a current Certificate of Insurance for Commercial Liability ($1M) and Design Professional Liability ($2M); a valid State of Minnesota Contractor's License (if applicable); an authorized signature sheet if not already on file; a list of subcontractors/material suppliers; and any other project-specific information as stated. All contractors must comply with Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe American Indian Employment requirements (18 MLBSA 5). Firms must be licensed with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, or submit a copy of their license application with the proposal. All proposals must be mailed and properly labeled.
